We are looking for a talented and creative virtual office manager who can help launch a new charity. Working from home,  you will be required to put in place processes and procedures and help to launch a  new organisation. T he role will require a depth of knowledge and experience of working within a start-up business or not for profit organisation. You will be able to work independently to put new processes in to place.
  
The company
A start up charity working within mental health and wellbeing, works alongside households names including the NHS and well known UK wide charities.  The organisation, set up in the midst of the COvid pandemic is very much in its infancy and  is very much operating on a remote basis.  This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to help get things off the ground.
  
Duties involved
  
  • Develop and maintain effective office systems
  • Managing and setting up HR systems  
  • General office procurement
  • Managing budgets and audit processes
  • Ensuring compliance with HMRC, Companies House and Charity Commission rules
  • Managing funding agreements, reports and payments
  • Facilitating Trustee meetings including minute taking and logistical arrangements
  • Inbox management
  • Diary management for the director
  
About you
  
  • An experienced Office Manager from a small charity
  • Knowledge and experience of woring iwthin charity or not for profit
  • Proven experience of creating new systems
  • Experience of working within a small organisation
  • Knowledge of the charity sector
  • Self motivated and proactive attitude to work
  • Experience of managing online banking would be desirable
  • Knowledge and experience of grant applications and funding agreements would be desirable
