Administration Assistant

We are currently recruiting for an eLearning Editorial Co-ordinator to start immediately until Feb 22 on a temp remote basis.  Paying £17-19 an hour 

WHO WILL YOU BE WORKING FOR?
Our client is an established non-profit Healthcare organisation. 

The College has two major online learning projects (CPD Online and Trainees Online), as well as a number of other eLearning projects based on these. The Editorial Co-ordinator’s role is to provide full administrative and editorial support to the CPDO and TrOn Editor

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
  • To manage all aspects of the commissioning process for new modules liaising with the Editor and communicating with authors and referees as necessary. Track module developments and ensure efficient progress through the assessment, revision, editorial and production processes, to ensure timely publication online.
  • To support other eLearning projects as needed, including:tracking module development; supporting subscriber enquiries and monitoring, logging and actioning feedback.
  • To organise Advisory Board meetings. Prepare agendas, reports, presentation materials and take minutes of the meetings.
  • To write copy for the static pages of the sites and make sure they are up to date.
  • To coordinate, write and circulate the CPD Online eNewsletter.
  • To handle the administration for the recording of podcasts, including arranging interviews.
ABOUT YOU
  • Editorial experience.
  • Experience of commissioning.
  • Experience of collaborating and consulting with key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral, with an excellent telephone manner.
  • Excellent organisational skills with an ability to keep to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to act on own initiative and work effectively as part of a team.
  • An eye for detail.
  • A positive and proactive attitude.
  • Tact and discretion.
  • Excellent grasp of PowerPoint and the Microsoft Office suite.
Also helpful; 
  • A working knowledge of Photoshop, and video and audio editing software.
  • Experience with learning management systems (D2L Brightspace).
