Our client is an award-winning innovator in the manufacture and supply of interior, flooring and design materials.  As an active member of trade associations, the company has been recognised by architects, designers, contractors and clients as a leading brand in the industry for over 15 years.

Package & Rewards
£30-40K Basic
+£25/30K OTE year 1
Car or allowance - flexible depending on requirements
Business travel expenses paid

North London and some postcodes in surrounding areas: M25, Bucks, Herts and Essex (you will be located with easy access to the area).
Job Title
Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager role will see you inherit existing contacts and project enquiries to engage with.
Key to the role however, is the focus and desire to respond to enquiries and identify new business opportunities with architects, designers, flooring contractors and end clients.
Whilst you will have full technical support, in this role you will be responsible for the whole specification sales cycle and each project phase through to closing the business.
Projects are both commercial and high end residential, with order values typically from £25K-£150K depending on complexity.
Working alongside a highly experienced sales and technical team, you will be offered excellent support, training and professional development.   

The Person Needed
This role would suit someone looking for professional development.  For the Business Development Manager role our client provides superb training and is open to considering applicants from a range of backgrounds.  But key factors are:
  • Previous B2B and face-to-face sales experience.
  • A dynamic and confident approach to new business and new customers.
  • Ideally some prior related industry exposure e.g. construction or, building industry, interiors, interior design, architectural, or related.
  • Finally, the desire to represent a leading brand and grow with the company.
