Overview We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Independent Financial Advisory firm based in Central London for a Trainee Paraplanner to join their technical support team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with existing experience within an IFA environment who is looking to deepen their technical knowledge and develop within a structured paraplanning function.
The role sits firmly within paraplanning and technical research, with no expectation to move into an advisory position.

- Assisting with research and case analysis
- Supporting the preparation of suitability reports
- Analysing client information and financial data
- Preparing review documentation
- Liaising with providers and compliance
- Ensuring accurate record keeping in line with FCA standards
- Supporting ongoing client review processes
About You This role will suit a candidate who:
- Has previous experience within an IFA or financial planning firm
- Is working towards Diploma qualification (or part-qualified)
- Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Is comfortable working in a technical, behind-the-scenes support role
- Has knowledge of Intelligent Office (highly desirable)
- Understands FCA compliance standards
