We are looking for a Procurement Business Partner to join our client on a permanent basis. This is a unique opportunity for you to join an invaluable public service organisation that will give you the opportunity to manage and deliver procurement and build relationships with partners and suppliers.
Who will you be working for?
Our Client is a public service organisation and are located a short distance from Warwick and Leamington Spa.
What will you be doing?
The main purpose of the role is to manage and deliver successful procurement. You will be formulating strategies, following up business leads and working alongside project managers and stakeholders on tenders and contracts. You will be expected to produce tender documents, carry our framework competitions and quotations, negotiate, review and draw up contracts as required.
You will also be forming relationships with business areas, collaborative partners, and suppliers. This will include analysing data and information to maximise value to the business.
About you:
You will have substantial knowledge of planning and managing procurement exercises including advertised tenders, framework competitions, quotation procedures and delivering procurements within wider projects or programmes. You must hold a good understanding of procurement policy and regulations including publish sector tendering regulations
You will also need:
- Hold CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma/Corporate Award or equivalent.
- Previous knowledge of e-Procurement tools and techniques.
- Good IT, literacy and numeracy skills including Microsoft Excel.
- Experience analysing and interpreting financial data.
