We are currently recruiting for an HR Officer to start immediately on Temp basis; 20-25 Hours a week- until Feb 22 maybe longer- The role is Hybrid and located close to Aldgate. 

£11-14 an Hour

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Cascade HR information system/database

  • Maintain HR information system
  • Set up and run reports using the HR database e.g., probation, starters, leavers, sickness absence, fixed term, maternity and visa end dates, alerting the HR and Development Manager and/or line managers of trends or relevant information
  • Carry out one to one induction and refresher sessions for staff in use of the self-service elements of the HR database
  • Liaise with Cascade Helpdesk to resolve database errors
  • Be a main officer of the Cascade system to troubleshoot and support staff on Cascade queries
Recruitment and selection
  • Manage all recruitment and selection administration/processes including:
  • keeping records of staff vacancies and recruitment activity
  • drafting and placing recruitment advertising
  • updating social media e.g., LinkedIn, twitter
  • posting recruitment adverts
  • purchase orders and recruitment budget records
  • interview administration
  • candidate liaison
  • reference requests & pre-employment health checks
  • provide data to monitor and report on diversity and equality in recruitment
  • review and improve the efficiency of the recruitment process
  • support and guide recruiting managers and panel members in the recruitment process
General HR administration
  • keep HR paper and electronic files up to date
  • draft contracts of employment based on templates
  • draft contract change letters e.g., change of hours, flexible working, responsibility payments, leaver, probation
  • collate new starter essential reading packs
  • purchase orders and maintain budget records
  • administer employee discount scheme e.g., adding new starters
  • administer meetings and events e.g., focus groups, managers’ meetings, learning at work week, job evaluation group meetings
  • maintain confidentiality and GDPR compliance

  • Ideally HR experience 
  • Good attention to detail
