PA and Business Support Manager

We are working with our client to recruitment an experienced PA and Business Support Manager.  The position of PA an Business Support Manager is varied and will involve supporting across the organisation with PA support, projects, policy work, leadership, HR, GDPR and other exciting areas.

What would you be doing?
We are looking for someone with good work ethics, relevant experience and a genuine enthusiasm and commitment towards their work. This is permanent and full-time position to start ASAP post successful interview.
Across this wonderful not-for profit organisation you will support information sharing,
future planning and problem solving, provide strong leadership and act as a role model for others within the team.  You will also take responsibility for the delivery of business priorities, including effective line management and prioritisation of projects within the administration team.  You will also provide high level business administration support to a director.
Other duties and responsibilities include:
  • Business Support and Office Management; leadership, review and management of the administration team including, lead and coordination of leadership team meetings, reporting, team planning, maintenance of budget documentation, monitoring and reporting on expenditure periodically.
  • Lead on review, development and streamline administrative processes such as invoice payment arrangements, creating new processes to ensure efficient and accurate protocols including procurement are in place.
  • Oversee and manage the on-boarding of new team members, including risk assessments as well as processes for leavers, in liaison with the HRBP and senior management, to establish and maintain induction materials.
  • Overseeing the planning and co-ordination of national events.
  • To lead on the production, formatting and publication of policy and practice guidance, in liaison with the Deputy Director of Development.
  • Oversee the collation of information and data from consultation activities, annual data returns and audits.
  • To lead on the maintenance of webpage and portal in liaison with the Communications Officer.
  • To lead on ensuring the GDPR compliancy and process management in relation to data breaches.
  • Reviewing and sending out communications throughout organisation.
  • Lead on recruitment processes.
  • Lead on the coordination and organisation of safeguarding governance.
About You
  • Relevant experience in a similar fast paced business support and management position.
  • Educated to A-level or equivalent.
  • Management skills.
  • Proven track record in providing executive support to senior management including experience of minute taking and drafting correspondence, policy work including research and drafting.
  • Experience of managing budgets and experience of financial systems such as
  • SAP.
  • Experience of dealing with enquiries from members of the public.
  • Evidence of dealing with confidential and sensitive material.
  • Evidence of dealing with confidential and sensitive material.
  • Unparalleled enthusiasm, pro-activity and professionalism at all times.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • An exceptional level of organisation and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional IT skills (i.e., intermediate Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word).
What’s in it for you?
In return the PA and Business Support Manager is a permanent position paying up to £38,331 – salary will be dependent on experience; with increase after successful probationary period to ££41,216 pa.
