HR Manager

We are currently recruiting for a HR Manager this is a contracted position through until March 2023 with possibility of extension.  The salary threshold starts from £43,980pa - £60,000pa (dependent on experience).
  
This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to help shape best practice HR in a growing organisation while playing a leading role.  EDI, revising policies, drafting and checking the staff handbook(s) and interaction with Unions and staff refs would be essential previous experience you will bring to the role.

WHO WILL YOU BE WORKING FOR?
Our client is an established non-profit healthcare focused organisation based on London. 
  
What will you be doing?
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Services, you will be responsible for managing and implementing all aspects HR function and policies. The post holder will act as first point of contact for general HR duties and requests from staff and applicants as well as the outsourced HR provider supporting development and review of HR policies and case work.
  
As HR Manager you will have overall responsibility for developing and maintaining HR policies and the Employee Handbook, and for HR records, including HR software, including that provided by the outsourced HR provider. The post holder is also responsible for supporting line managers with training and enactment of HR policies and processes.
  
You will also support hiring managers with recruitment campaigns, including overseeing the interview process and preparation of correspondence to applicants. Including support with staff onboarding and leaving processes and manage all staff documentation, from pre to post employment.
  
You will be supported by and manage the HR Officer.
  
About you: 
You will need to be a confident, self-motivated individual who can work independently.  You will also need to be well organised with good attention detail.
  
In addition:
  • You will hold MCIPD qualified at Level 7 or Level 5 minimum.
  • You will keep up to date with and hold current knowledge of UK employment law and best practice in HR.
  • Have previous experience within a HR Manager level position.
  • Experience managing and developing a small team.
  • Experienced working with a range of stakeholders at various levels within an organisation, including senior management teams, union and staff side representatives.
  • Experiences in developing, implementing and monitoring HR policies and processes.
  • Proficiency in using HR information systems.

Our client offers a hybrid working model of 2-3 days in office and the remainder of the week from home. The applicable salary is £43,980pa-£60,000pa (dependent on experience).
