We are currently recruiting for a HR Consultant to start immediately on a 4-6 week temporary contract. This role located in London Bridge and is paying the equivalent of £35k per annum.
This role has a lot of flexibility regarding working hours and would suit someone searching for a flexible working schedule with potential for work from home days.
WHO WILL YOU BE WORKING FOR?
Our client is an academic institution with a passion for increasing the standards of healthcare provision in the UK.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Familiarising with current company HR policies
- Drafting/”filling in gaps” where there are gaps (e.g. IT/social media policies need updating)
- Working with and attending our Joint Consultative Negotiating Committee meetings and inputting management side on this issue
- Attending company Senior Management meetings to discuss proposals for the handbook
- HR qualified with up to date knowledge of employment law
- Good knowledge of drafting and application of HR policies as they are applicable to a medium size business
- Experience of putting together a company employee handbook
- Experience of working with HR consultancies
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate and establish relationships with senior management and staff side colleagues, using diplomacy and tact
- Excellent MS Office skills (probably just Word and Outlook)
- Ability to work on own initiative with drive and enthusiasm
- Discreet with confidential and sensitive information
