Governance Coordinator

We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Governance Coordinator with governance, committees, and administrative experiences.

What will you be doing?
We are currently recruiting for a Governance Coordinator.  As Governance Coordinator you will provide coordination and administrative support to the Governance Department.

Key Duties include:
Assisting in the preparation and publication of papers for Council and Committees
  • Remaining up to date and communicating updates to other relevant individuals.
  • Diary management, secretarial and administrative support where required.
  • Taking notes of meetings and other groups as required.
  • Maintaining Governance Department records and administrative systems, including managing the correct processing of expense claims from members and maintaining internal records for budgeting purposes.
  • Responding to Council and Committee members’ queries.
  • Administration of public campaigns.
  • To understand the information security requirements for information accessed or processed.
  • Undertaking other tasks required.
  
About you:
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Experiences within a complex environment; providing administrative support to senior level meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes and papers.
  • Proven ability to build effective internal and external stakeholder relationships within a demanding role.
  • Ability to deal with confidential matters.
  • Awareness of Corporate Governance best practice – highly desired.
  • Exceptional organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy while working in a fast paced and time sensitive environment.
  • Willing to travel as required including overnight stays if required.
