Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and qualified or part-qualified Accountant.

Who will you be working for?

What will you be doing?
We are currently recruiting for a qualified or part-qualified Accountant.  As the Financial Accountant for this organisation you will manage:
  • Purchase ordering and accounts payable functions.
  • Ensuring expenditure on goods and services is properly recorded and paid when due.
  • Manage the accounts receivable processes.
  • Support across departments including the HR department to support and manage the payroll function.
  • Providing support to budget holders and employees on the purchase ordering system and payroll and other finance queries.
  • Management of x3 accounting Officers.
About you:
  • Qualified or part-qualified Accountant.
  • Previous Financial Accounting experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills - including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
  • Attention to detail and an orderly approach to processing.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer savvy with working knowledge of MS Windows.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to process deadlines.
  • Payroll and pension processing knowledge.
  • Ability to work flexibly as part of a busy team.
  • Experiences with accounting systems, preferably SAGE 200.
