Committee and Communications Coordinator

Our client is seeking an experienced Coordinator to successfully design and coordinate outgoing communications.
This position is a 14-month fixed term contract.  Our client can accommodate part home working and part in-office.

Who will you be working for?
Our client is an innovative healthcare organisation located in the City of London.

What will you be doing?
You will take responsibility for designing and coordinating key communications, including magazine.
Other responsibilities include:
  • Leading, managing and coordinating work streams and projects
  • Coordinate the responses to consultations including all queries relating to them and exercising the appropriate level of discretion as well as liaising with Faculty representative on external committees.
  • Liaise with multiple senior external stakeholders
  • Coordinate the project to develop a Quality Improvement resource
  • Coordinate the introduction of quarterly Safety Bulletins.
  • Coordinate the work of the Legal and Ethical Policy Unit and all related correspondence.
  • Liaise with legal professionals to undertake reviews and legal engagement.
  • Oversee production of appropriate ethical guidance.
  • Deliver brainstorming events on legal and ethical discussions.
  • Production of newsletter; coordinating design, management of timelines and schedules with editors and printers, organise and design layout etc.
  • Committee work; support the committee as secretary with preparation of agendas, note and action point taking, briefing on issues etc.
  • Liaison across departments.
  • Any other related administrative tasks.
You will need:
  • Previous committee experience – essential.
  • Strong administration skills – including minute taking – essential.
  • Experience maintaining relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Experienced in coordinating a large ongoing programme of work.
  • Experience in comparable organisations (other colleges, healthcare settings) and working in clinical standards would be advantageous.
  • Design skills – not essential but highly desired.
  • Excellent planning, organisation and documentation handlng skills.
