Accounts Assistant needed ASAP on temporary basis in London. This role is paying £15.50 per hour.

Purpose and Scope
Reconciles output statements with accounting records, studies, prepares and co-ordinates the production of periodic reports. Ensures accuracy of input data into the computerised system.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Reconciles output statements with accounting records, studies and prepares comprehensive reports for London Office covering all aspects of financial control reports.
  • Co-ordinates the production of monthly management reports on time and ensures the correctness of data contained therein. Assists in the preparation and reconciling of various statements with accounting records as required.
  • Participates in compiling the data for clearing outstanding balances due to/from employees/vendors/suppliers/healthcare providers etc.
  • Monitors the workflow, ensuring the deadlines are met and correct accounting policies/procedures are being followed.
  • Reviews and inputs monthly and year closer transaction related to provisions. Prepares accrual for the year-end closing in liaison with London Office sections.
  • Participates in the preparation of budget, expense, payroll entries, invoices and other accounting documents as required.
  • Resolves all accounting transaction issues and/or discrepancies.
  • Assists supervisor in external and internal audit process. This includes, preparing necessary financial statements and other related information.
  • Carries out other related duties such as providing statistical data/reports, answering queries, undertaking other duties of a similar nature as required and adhering to HSE rules/regulations.
